Sevoke Bridge: The Gateway to North-East India

The Sevoke Bridge, also known as Coronation Bridge, is an iconic structure that stands over the turbulent waters of the Teesta River in Siliguri, West Bengal. Built in 1941 to commemorate the coronation of King George VI, this historic bridge connects the bustling town of Siliguri with the scenic hills of Kalimpong, Sikkim, and Bhutan.

Designed by British engineer John Chambers, the Sevoke Bridge is an architectural marvel with its unique arch design that seamlessly blends with the surrounding natural beauty. The lush green forests of Mahananda Wildlife Sanctuary on one side and the rolling hills on the other make it a favorite spot for travelers and photography enthusiasts.

For many, Sevoke Bridge is more than just a transportation link—it's a symbol of cultural and geographical unity, connecting the plains to the mystic beauty of the North-Eastern states. Whether you're driving across it or pausing to take in the breathtaking views, this bridge offers a glimpse of both nature's grandeur and historical significance.

Bazi the bird

 BaziBazi

Once upon a time, there was a beautiful white bird named Bazi who lived in a cozy house with her best friend. Bazi was a curious little bird who loved to explore, but more than anything, she adored playing with her friend. Every morning, she would chirp happily, hopping around, eager for their fun games.

One sunny afternoon, they decided to play hide-and-seek. Bazi, with her quick little wings, would hide in the silliest spots—behind books, under cushions, or even on top of shelves. But no matter where she hid, her friend always found her because she couldn’t stop giggling with excitement.

At the end of each day, Bazi would snuggle close, chirping softly as her friend gently stroked her feathers. They were the perfect team, bound by joy and love, creating memories that would last forever.

And so, every day was an adventure for Bazi and her friend, their bond growing stronger with each game they played.
